Kaizer Chiefs midfielder Tinashe Nengomasha has hit out at Zimbabwe coach Jose Claudinei for not including him in his starting team.

Claudinei, also known as Valinhos, took over as the Warriors boss earlier this year.

Nengomasha has made no secret about his dissatisfaction with the way the Brazilian has handled him.

The Kaizer Chiefs star argues that his form at club and international level more then warrant his inclusion in the Warriors starting XI.

He has threatened the former Brazil's U-20 coach not to call him for national duty again unless he is in the starting line-up.

Nengomasha told Standardsport: "The issue of being left out in the starting-line up has been haunting me for a long time.

"I feel now it's the time to tell them that they mustn't call me for national duty if they feel I'm not good enough"

Nengomasha was part of the Warriors' first Africa Cup of Nations finals in 2004 and played a hand in guiding Chiefs to the PSL title during the 2003-2004 season. He was also named PSL's players player and player of the year for that season.

"If I continue sitting on the bench in the next game, I will withdraw my services to the national team and concentrate on club football," he added.

Nengomasha denied that he has been left out because Valinhos uses a formation in which Nengomasha plays a similar role to Esrom Nyandoro.

He continued: "People would want to say I play the same role as Esrom, but I don't think it's the reason. "We have been playing alongside each other for a long time now. "I confronted him after our last match, after I came in six minutes from time and he told me he wanted a strong bench."

"I was not satisfied with that answer and I feel I have reached my peak now, so I should play. "After thinking about that, I decided to come out in the open to tell him that he must not call me if I am not to play."-Standard Sport.
