Alois Mbawara leads militant pressure group Free Zim Youth UK.

The group burst onto the scene in 2007 with a series of high profile demonstrations against African diplomats including and most famously, South African Foreign Affairs Minister Nkosazana Dhlamini Zuma.

Alois is joined by Wellington Chibhanguza, Luka Phiri, Chipo Chaya and others in the group.

The group has always advocated a Pan African solution to the Zimbabwean crisis but critics say they are too grounded in left wing politics at the detriment of strategy.

Still they remain one of the most vibrant activist groups in the UK and shed hope for the future of the Zimbabwean struggle.
